Statement for Eden Vale Holiday Flats

This property information is provided to give our guests and insight into the layout, design and function of the building. We are not in possession of any Mobility Level awards or certificates.



Eden Vale is a large Georgian property which has been converted into 

7 self-catering, self-contained flats, each with private facilities.

All flats can accommodate 2 people comfortably. We have two slightly larger flats that can accommodate up to 4 people.


When booking you will be asked for your name, address and a contact telephone number.

We also require a deposit at this stage to secure your booking.

The deposit is non-refundable and can be paid by cheque, postal order, bank transfer (details on request) or in certain pre-arranged cases by PayPal (charges incurred).

Cheques and postal orders to be made payable to Eden Vale.


Weekly bookings commence on a Saturday, and end on a Saturday morning.

Check-In is 12pm

Check-Out is 9.30am

Arrival And Car Parking Facilities:

Eden Vale is centrally located on the sea front in the town of Morecambe.  


Only a 5 - 10 minute walk from local shops and supermarkets.


Easily accessed via the M6 motorway exit for The Bay Gateway (Junction 34), and we are an ideal base for visiting the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.

Upon arrival we will be there to meet you and hand over keys etc.  It is helpful if you can let us know of the estimated time of your arrival as we are not on the premises 24/7.  You can contact us via the mobile number on the brochures displayed in the vestibule should you not already have our number.

We have no public telephone on the premises.

We offer FREE PARKING on the public car park across the road. We provide a permit for this which must be displayed in your vehicle at all times during your stay.

There are two parking spaces at the front of the property, these will be allocated to those most in need and at the discretion of the proprietors.

Main Entrance:

The property is accessed by one step approximately 9” high.  

A metal ramp is provided for wheelchair users.

The front door is wide enough to get a motorised buggy or wheelchair comfortably through.

There is a space in the hallway to park one motorised buggy or wheelchair.

Public Areas:

There are no width restrictions or obstacles within the corridor area which exceeds 900mm wide.

Stairs to the first two floors are wide with a sturdy handrail.

We are always happy to help with your luggage on arrival and departure.


Eden Vale comprises 7 flats, the two (described below) are offered as ground floor and the best options for those with limited mobility.

Ground Floor Sea view (Flat 5):

Our best accommodation for those with slight mobility problems, providing wheelchair access into the room, however, the shower and WC areas are not large enough to accommodate a wheelchair.

There is a handrail beside the WC and a handrail in the shower area.

We can provide a raised toilet seat and a shower chair upon request.

Ground Floor Patio Flat (Flat 7):

This flat is accessed at the end of the entrance hall down 3 steps.

Once inside the flat it can be used on one level. There is a double bedroom down a wide, carpeted and very easy to use spiral staircase, however, there is also the option to have 2 single beds in the lounge area making the accommodation all on one level if preferred.

The rest of the flats are accessed by stairs and offer no access for mobility aids.

Each flat has an information directory with details of local services, e.g., taxis, supermarkets and their locations along with information in relation to Eden Vale such as fire alarm drill, recycling, parking info and proprietors contact info etc.
